Happy First Fathers Day

Happy Fathers Day!! It's hard to believe the boys are now 3 weeks old. They certainly are enjoying their dad and his morning German lullabies. We spent the morning eating our traditional Sunday chocolate chip pancakes. Adler and Bodhi gave dad two running shirts and a pocket knife with their birth date. Pictures to follow.

Pediatric Pulmonology Visit

Adler had his special appointment today. Everyone is so proud of his growth. They also LOVE his soft blonde hair. Right now we are unsure if or what will become of his cyst. We are working on getting several opinions before making a decision. Keep your fingers crossed that NO special treatment will be needed.

Two Week Check Up...No More LITTLE Boys!!

Today, the boys had their two week check up at the Pediatricians office. Boy do they enjoy those cold scales. Adler manages to wash them down every time. You would think by now they would have invented a "special" boy scale. Adler now weighs 6 lbs 13 oz and Bodhi 6 lbs 11 oz. Both are in the 25th percentile. Although we are happy they are growing, its sad too think how fast things are happening. Mommy no longer has preemie babies.

Beim Doktor

Am Mittwoch waren wir beim Doktor. Adler hat schon fast wieder sein Geburtsgewicht erreicht und Bodhi ist sogar schon etwas darueber. Wir waren sehr ueberrascht, da die Milchproduktion noch nicht richtig gestartet hat.
Die ersten zwei Tage Zuhause waren hart. Die Kleinen haben uns bis um 4Uhr morgens wachgehalten und am Tag ist ans schlafen nicht zu denken. Am dritten Tag haben sie dann tatsaechlich im 2 Stunden Interval geschlafen.

We Survived Our First Week Home

It's hard to believe that it has been one week since the boys were born. How time flies. During this time the boys have had their first doctors appointment. Adler now weighs 5 lbs 7 oz and Bodhi 5 lbs 2 oz. This is up from 5 lbs 4 oz and 4 lbs 14 oz. I guess Mommy and Daddy are doing something right.

My FIRST Bath with Daddy

Bernd got the honor of giving the first bath to our precious boys!! I will have to say he did a good job. Everyone came out nice and clean.
